Privacy Policy

Camuzo ("we", "us") makes a camera app for iPhone that lets you record video while audio from your other apps keeps playing. We built Camuzo to be private by default. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with your information.

The short version

• No account and no sign in are required to use Camuzo.
• We do not collect your name, email, contacts, or location.
• Your videos stay on your device and in your own photo library. We never upload them.
• We do not track you, show ads, or sell data.
• The only data collected is anonymous crash diagnostics, used to fix bugs.

Camera, microphone, and photos

Camuzo asks for access to your camera and microphone to record video, and for permission to add videos to your photo library so it can save what you record. This all happens on your device. Your recordings are not sent to us or to any server.

How audio works

Camuzo keeps your music playing while you record. It does not pause or take over your other apps, and it does not copy or capture the audio that streams inside your music, podcast, or video apps. If sound is coming from your speaker, your microphone may pick it up, exactly as it would in any video recording. If you listen on headphones or a Bluetooth device, that audio stays in your ears and is not in the video.

Diagnostics we collect

To keep the app stable, we use Firebase Crashlytics to receive anonymous crash reports and basic diagnostic information (such as the type of device and the app version) when the app crashes. This data is not linked to your identity and is never used for advertising or tracking. We do not use any analytics or tracking SDKs.

Purchases

Camuzo Pro is sold as an in-app purchase through Apple. Payments are handled entirely by Apple's App Store using StoreKit, and we use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage subscription status. We never see or store your payment card details.

Third-party services

The limited services above are provided by Apple (App Store and StoreKit), Google (Firebase Crashlytics), and RevenueCat (subscription management). Their handling of any data is governed by their own privacy policies.

Children

Camuzo is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your choices

You can revoke camera, microphone, or photo access at any time in the iOS Settings app. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Camuzo after a change means you accept the updated policy.
